Lynsey is Albedo’s Content Creation Lead. Her background is based in marine ecology and improving public science education access on coastal ecosystems. 

She earned bachelor’s degrees in Marine Biology and Sociology from UC San Diego and completed a master’s in Climate and Society from Columbia University. Lynsey previously worked with the forecasting group at the International Research Institute on Climate and Society translating forecast reports into everyday language. She also worked for the Surfrider Foundation where she researched blue carbon ecosystems and blue carbon off-set initiatives. Her goal is to apply environmental research to effective and equitable climate policy and education. 

She currently resides in Western Colorado where spends quite a bit of time rafting and skiing. Lynsey enjoys baking and pointing out dogs to those around her.
