Sara is currently a project manager at CALSTART, a national clean transportation nonprofit. As she works to decarbonoize the transportation sector to reduce harmful air pollutants and greenhouse gas emissions, many of her projects focus on equity and environmental justice. 

In college, she double minored in international relations and environmental studies. She expanded her knowledge and passion for working on climate change when she took courses in international sustainable development, environmental justice, and natural disasters. 

Sara also worked as a Smart & Green e-Mobility in the Netherlands for a summer during college to research electric vehicle (EV) policy frameworks and project developments around the world. This research culminated into the creation of infographics for the 2018 Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco. She continues to take courses in these topics, including International Climate Change Law, Worldview Institute at the United Nations Association, and Behavior-Centered Design for the environment. Outside of work, Sara loves to find new and challenging hikes and roadtrip ideas.
