Gianna founded Albedo Climate Solutions and is committed to making climate change education more accessible while sparking both local and global action.

She has a background in paleoclimatology, environmental policy, and climate communications. Aside from Albedo, Gianna serves as Chief Climate Officer of Convincing Crypto and focuses on blockchain solutions that address economic and environmental injustices. Previously, she served in the nonprofit sector as an Executive Director and Lead Facilitator and worked on climate models at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies.

She earned two bachelor’s in Earth System Science and Urban Studies at UC Irvine and later earned a master’s in Climate and Society from Columbia University.

Gianna enjoys figure skating, rollerblading, and experimenting with new sustainable baked goods recipes.
