Albedo Climate Solutions was founded upon the belief that climate education should be accessible to all. Our mission is to provide an education that allows people to reflect on their role in the climate crisis and continue on to advance meaningful, inclusive, and effective climate solutions.
Coming Summer 2022!
We will be launching our online Climate Education and Leadership Training Program for rising high school seniors and above. This program will allow students to learn about current climate science, justice, and solutions and provide guidance on how they can take action in their communities or pursue careers in climate issues.
Our program offers a free, open-sourced multimedia curriculum and weekly discussions for students to explore the intersectionalities of the climate crisis with their peers, guest speakers, and mentors. The course opens with students learning the scientific and social basics of climate change to grow their understanding of the climate crisis. Then, students build on this foundation by diving into topics regarding adaptation and mitigation strategies, climate justice, policy, and climate communication. By the end of the program, students will be able to create their pathway to climate action by translating their scientific understanding of climate change into social action in their respective communities.

Week 2: Anthropogenic Contributions What is the extent of human contribution to climate change? Week 3: Adaptation and Mitigation What current strategies exist to manage the repercussions of climate change? Week 4: Climate Ethics Who is responsible for climate action? Week 5: Environmental Policy How are existing policies shaping climate action? Week 6: Climate Communication What is the most effective way to communicate the need for climate action?
