John co-founded Albedo and is leading the Education Team.

As an earth science teacher, he is a dynamic environmentalist passionate about environmental preservation. He has a proven ability to convey strong knowledge of the earth’s natural processes, sustainability, and much of the environmental impacts we see today.

John’s experiences in and out of the classroom have highlighted the need for accessible and reliable information and taught him the skills necessary to foster a space for creating solutions, resolving conflicts, and cultivating ideas.

Having recently completed his Master’s of Arts degree in the Climate and Society program at Columbia University, John is currently focusing on completing his second master’s degree in Science Education at the City College of New York. John’s academic background has allowed him to focus on a wide range of subjects such as policy, sustainability, marine science, and science communication.
